The styling is not applying to my directory
Check that Business Directory Plugin is active - BD Styler will not run without it - and that the categories you selected under Settings then BD Styler then General actually contain the listings you are looking at. Leaving every category unticked applies the styling everywhere.
All my listings look the same
Visual prominence comes from your WPBDP plans. If no plans are configured, or listings have not been assigned one, there is nothing to differentiate. Map each plan on the Plan Mapping tab, then use Tools then BD Styler Plan Repair to assign a plan in bulk to any listing that has none.
The single listing page or directory home looks unchanged
Both redesigns are switched OFF by default. Turn them on from the Listing Page and Directory Home tabs. They are separate features, so enabling one does not enable the other.
The layout breaks with my theme
BD Styler restyles what Business Directory Plugin renders, so a heavily customised WPBDP template can stop it matching. TagDiv and Newspaper themes are specifically handled. If your directory uses custom WPBDP templates, test on a staging copy first.
